Utada Hikaru’s offical website was updated overnight with additional information on her new single “boku wa kuma”. Based on the new information we can expect not only a CD & CD+Picture Book version of the single in record stores but also a special CD+Dvd which will feature some special animation which will be airing on Minna no Uta, NHK’s tv station. It’s confirmed… The rumours we’ve been hearing about a Live Dvd coming out for the Christmas season have been offically confirmed Yay!
The live performace Dvd will be called United 2006 and is scheduled to be released December 20th with a MSRP of 6500 yen.
Another important point is all 3 previous live DVD’s will all be released on the same day in special tall packaging and at a much lower price.
We will report when preorders become available!

On November 22nd we will finally have a new Utada Hikaru single (its about time to). The new song will be titled “Boku Wa Kuma” which in english translates to mean “I am a bear”, the single will be quickly put to use on Japanese television with the NHK channels “Minna no Utaa” which is a childrens show.
When it is released to the public it will come with the song itself, a special Karaoke version and a picture book.

As the title says the Ultra Blue and single collection Vol 1 CDS are now available pretty much everywhere across Canada, HMV in particular has ordered a large number of copies and they are fairly priced at $19 canadian.

All I can say is she sure has alot of fun washing all those dishes… But I like the song, we warned though its entirely in Japanese.
